Our Story
One hundred and thirty-seven acres in the heart of Edna Valley, grown by hand from a small lavender farm into a place where families gather, celebrations unfold, and animals are cared for with love.
The Coglitore Family
Cavalli Estates began with two people, a stretch of Edna Valley hillside, and a simple belief: that a place, tended with love, can change how people feel the moment they arrive.
Gio and Lisa Coglitore planted their first rows of lavender on the hills of Edna Valley with no grander plan than to build something beautiful and share it with the people they love. What began as a small farm has grown, season by season, into the 137-acre estate you see today.
The estate is now home to three private residences, a working lavender farm, an animal sanctuary, and an equestrian center, and it welcomes weddings and gatherings of every size. Yet the spirit that started it all has never changed: everything here is still grown, raised, and cared for by hand.
Gio and Lisa tend the land themselves, know their animals by name, and greet many of their guests personally. For them, luxury has never been about excess. It is about the feeling of being genuinely cared for, in a place that invites you to slow down and remember what matters.
That is the welcome they extend to everyone who comes through the gate. Whether you are here for a single quiet night, a wedding, or a family reunion under the stars, you are, for a little while, part of the family.
What We Believe
One hundred and thirty-seven acres of lavender, vineyards, citrus groves, ponds, and trails, tended by the family who calls it home.
Horses, alpacas, Highland cows, sheep, chickens, and the farm dog. Every animal here is known by name and cared for with love.
Genuine, personal hospitality. Many guests are greeted by Gio and Lisa themselves, and leave feeling like part of the family.
